Are you a Georgia Certified Residential or Certified General Property Appraiser interested in becoming a Hearing Officer? The Fulton County Board of Equalization is currently seeking certified appraisers to hear property appeals as a hearing officer.
Hearing Officers ensure that an appeal of the Tax Assessor’s property assessment is made fairly and equitably when values exceed $500,000.00. In Fulton County, there are over 500 hearings each year. Hearings are held Monday thru Friday from 9AM - 4PM. Hearing officers are paid $100.00 for the first hour and $75.00 for each additional hour.
