Becoming a Notary

A Notary Public is public officer appointed by the Clerk of Superior Court in the county where the individual resides. The Notary Public acts as an impartial witness to transactions in an effort to ensure authenticity and to defer fraud. Government, businesses and the public at large heavily rely on the accuracy and integrity of Notary Publics.
